Day 2 – Emergency call

Last night while my owner was in bed his parents called the emergency vet, I had been pooing blood since my vaccinations and refusing to eat – I didn’t feel very well at all.

The vet thinks it’s my worms and that there isn’t anything to worry about, but to make an appointment if things don’t improve.

Things didn’t improve so I’ve got to see the vet tomorrow.

Day 1 – My first vets visit

Today my owner and his father took me to see the vet. He was really excited and proud to show me to everyone as his puppy, but I was scared, fore although he was told by my ‘breeder’ I had been vet checked this was actually my first visit.

By 8 weeks I (as a dog) am legally required to be microchipped but my breeders didn’t get it done, so now at 10 weeks I was finally becoming legal all thanks to my new home.

I am so underweight and malnurished that the vet wasn’t sure I would be healthy enough to be vaccinated, but since she was giving me an injection to install my microchip she decided to go ahead. She then told my owner to give me lots of food and treats to feed me up and make me healthy again.

Finally the vet gave us a wormer so I could be wormed when I got home, she thinks my bloating is worms and not a real belly.
